Meet Luke...

Luke is a nearly perfect Morgan with a beautiful think mane and tail, dark coat and light brown nose.  He is simply stunning!  Previously he was owned by one of UMC's Equine Science professionals and was leased to the school for their instructional classes and team competitions.  

Before his retirement he spent a summer at the ranch while the university was busy reseeding their paddocks.  We knew right away that we had the chance, we would bring him into the SDYR family.  

Luke is fabulous and comes with sound foundational training as well as advanced show style training.  He's the perfect fit for those kiddos who are ready to move past the trot and try the lope.  He's slow controlled and very forgiving.  If he's asked something  in a awkward or uncoordinated manner he simply figures out what was intended and does his best to accommodate the learning curves of each individual rider.  

Luke is unique for the ranch in that he is owned by a private party and generously leased to us for our youth mentoring sessions.  While we aren't responsible for all of his care he still needs a team to help cover his basic needs.
