It takes a village...our youth mentoring program alone requires a volunteer staff of 40 to work along side our full time team!  If you are interested in our mission we would invite you to schedule a tour, fill out the volunteer application and join the team!

BEN AND CARYL
have adventured  hand in hand for over a quarter of a century as husband and wife. dad and mom, and followers of Christ. In the winter of 2011 and with the passion and hope that is found only in their faith, they began the outrageous adventure of developing Stable Days Youth Ranch.

Starting with no land, no horses and no experience, its amazing that six short years later they have 70 acres, 15 horses and more than a few lessons learned.

It is their humble privilege to serve as the founders and directors of SDYR and SDE.

HANNAH
is a lover of Abba Father, her daughter Adalia, dirt under her fingernails and good black coffee! She will be joining us Spring 2016 on staff, but has been volunteering since the creation of Stable Days. Her background includes some college with a focus on Natural Resources, time serving in the Air National Guard, and most recently working at Chemical Dependency Treatment Facilities and Mental Health clinics.

Her ministry focus verse is James 1:27 which reads, "Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world."

I have been in love with horses and kids for as long as anyone can remember. Pair that with an ever growing relationship with Christ and a ranch like Stables Days has been my dream for over a decade. When I met the Lester's, I knew right away that this was an answer to that prayer.
The 2015 season was such an amazing blessing! I had the honor of mentoring incredible youth and watching them grow in courage, confidence, skill, and trust; trust in me, their horse, themselves, and grow in their trust in God.
Though home for me is Kansas City Missouri, I am joyous to be making the Grand Forks area home again for the 2016 season
